Deborah has been teaching in KS2 since 2010. She always knew from a young age that her dream was to be a teacher due to her love of helping others and watching them blossom.  After graduating with a BA Hons in Education, specialising in languages, Deborah began her teaching journey in East London. Since then, she has taught and undertaken many different roles in two local primary schools and was an assistant headteacher prior to joining Alma in September 2023.

Deborah prides herself on being passionate and enthusiastic. She enjoys being involved in the development of other teachers and has completed both an NPQML and in NPQSL in the teaching/leadership of mathematics-she hopes to gain further qualifications in her role as English lead this year.

In her spare time, Deborah enjoys sports and is an avid football fan. She enjoys keeping fit and running after her two young daughters!
